Kay is named after Kay Bojesen himself, who was a big fan of the colour blue. He was always either wearing an immaculate blue suit, shirt and tie, or a white work coat. The songbird was designed by Kay Bojesen in the 1950s and, like its five colourful siblings, has never before been put into production.
