Aalborg Taffel Akvavit is the archetype of a clear, Danish aquavit. It has a distinct taste of cumin seeds, but if you close your eyes, you can sense a subtle aftertaste of orange.
It goes perfectly with a piece of marinated herring served with an onion ring. And success is guaranteed if served with a piece of salami or roast pork with sour.
