A mild meduim aging of about 12 weeks makes the taste mild and aromatic with some taste of putty and a distinct taste of cumin. It is the unique lactic acid culture and red putty that is applied to the surface of the cheese that gives the Danbo cheese its characteristic taste and soft creamy but sliceable texture, which makes the cheese suitable for morning and lunch serving. Round holes the size of peas and cumin are evenly distributed in the cheese. Arla Klovborg is a cheese for the whole family – made from natural ingredients and Danish milk.
