For your homemade peppernuts Dr. Oetker’s Peppernut Spice is a unique Christmas spice that is easy and simple to use. The recipe is on the back of the bag. Note: Peppernut seasoning contains baking soda as a leavening agent. If you use the spice for baked goods other than the recipe stated, do not use nearly as much leavening agent. Inspiration/RecipePeppernutsIngredients 220 g wheat flour 1 sachet Dr. Oetker peppernut spice spice 125 g sugar 125 g butter 1 egg size M/L How to do it: Preheat the oven to 180 °C convection or 200 °C traditional heat. Mix the sifted wheat flour and spice mixture together with the sugar. Add the diced butter and assemble the dough with the egg. Divide the dough into four parts and roll them into long rolls. Cut the rolls into small pieces and roll the pieces into peppernuts. Bake the peppernuts for 8-10 minutes. until they are golden.
