Husblas, also known as gelatin, solidify juice and broth into jellies and aspic, thicken milk and cream into pudding and Panna Cotta, set cream and eggs into mousse, and firm up berry and fruit mixtures into desserts. Cheesecakes have become very popular to make, and gelatin plays a central role here as well, helping to set the cream cheese and jelly. This conventional gelatin sheets are made from animal gelatin derived from pigs.
