Valsem\u00f8llen Coarse Grain Rye Bread is whole grain at its best. The sourdough rye bread is filled with chia seeds and soft, visible grains.<\/p>\n

We’ve mixed the flour, a lot of grains and the sourdough for you – that’s home baking made easy! You won’t compromise on taste, quality or baking pleasure. The result is a deliciously moist rye bread with great taste, good bite and a long shelf life. Perfect for everything from breakfast, to lunch, to lunch boxes.<\/p>\n

Yeast is included on top of the package The bread mix makes 1 large rye bread (2.6 l).<\/p>\n

Here’s how you do it<\/p>\n

  1. Mix the contents of the bag with Valsem\u00f8llen dry yeast in a bowl and add 7\u00bddl water.<\/li>\n
  2. Knead the dough for at least 5 minutes in a mixer on the lowest speed or with a hand mixer on medium speed. Be aware that the dough may feel wet.<\/li>\n
  3. Pour the dough into a greased mold (2.6 l), smooth with a spatula and let it rise covered for 60 minutes at room temperature.<\/li>\n
  4. Bake the rye bread on the bottom rack in a preheated oven at 200\u00b0C (fan oven 175\u00b0C) for about 60 minutes.<\/li>\n
  5. Remove the baked bread and leave it to cool. Note: the rye bread must be cooled before slicing.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
